Ford Will Soon Open Up Order Banks for the 2023 Mustang Mach-E
Ford will soon open up order banks for the all-electric 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E. The Blue Oval had initially postponed orders for the electric crossover due to excessive demand. Thankfully, Ford will be allowing consumers to order the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E this year on August 15th, 2022. Ford has been on a roll with its EVs like the Mach-E and the powerful F-150 Lightning. Many consumers have been turning toward electric vehicles in an effort to help combat the global climate crisis. In response, Ford has been trying to increase its production to meet the demands of its customers. Ford Opens Orders for 2023 Mustang Mach-E
Ford will be opening its order bank for the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E. This news comes after the automaker initially postponed orders for the electric crossover due to excessive demand. Thanks to an increase in production, Ford will be allowing consumers to order the Mustang Mach-E on August 15, 2022. The Blue Oval has made several updates to the Ford Mustang Mach-E. These include an increase in battery capacity as well as an increase in battery range. According to Ford CEO Jim Farley, the electric crossover may see more improvements. About the Mustang Mach-E, Farley recently said,
“It [Mach-E] is due for a major software update later this year that will refresh the entire interface displayed on the screens in the car.”
Ford will be increasing the production of the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E at its Cuautitlan assembly plant in Mexico. This increase is expected to follow after the order banks open back up. Ford has designated an expected production date of October 31, 2022. Ford will also likely increase its production of the 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning which has also seen high demand. Production for many automakers has taken a hit due to the ongoing chip shortage, but it seems Ford has been able to work through it despite the setbacks.
Ford will also be increasing its battery supply for both the Mach-E and F-150 Lightning. This will help the automaker boost its vehicle output significantly, about 200,000 units annually. Those interested in the 2023 Mustang Mach-E will have their chance to place an order on August 15, 2022. We’re not sure when Ford will deliver, but consumers should expect a delivery date near the end of 2022.
