Bronco Sport First Edition Wheel Kit is Available Once Again
The 2022 Ford Bronco Sport can now be equipped with the grandiose First Edition wheel kit. The Bronco has been receiving a lot of praise since its debut. The 4×4 SUV has proven to be a tough contender among other off-road SUVs like the Jeep Wrangler and Subaru Forester. To solidify its status as a top off-roader, Ford will now be offering Bronco Sport owners the opportunity to equip their SUV with the signature First Edition Wheel kit. This kit includes 17-inch wheels and several other Bronco-specific items. Aside from this latest kit, Ford is also working on updating the Bronco’s digital instrument display to feature more modern graphics. This just goes to show that the Blue Oval continues to provide its consumers with the latest features.
Ford to Offer First Edition Wheel Kit
Ford will once again be offering the First Edition Wheel kit for the Ford Bronco Sport trim. Ford initially offered this wheel kit upon the release of the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The Blue Oval offered the signature kit with the Bronco Sport trim in celebration of the release of the subcompact SUV. Upon its release, the Ford Bronco received a lot of praise for its versatility and capability. Equipped with either a 1.5L or 2.0L EcoBoost engine, the Bronco Sport proves highly capable and efficient as an off-road SUV. This is thanks to the Bronco’s signature G.O.A.T mode (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) which allows it to utilize several driving modes. These modes can optimize performance and suspension to better handle specific terrain.
The Bronco Sport trim features off-road equipment and styling to help it better navigate tough terrain. This includes air design fender flares, an air design rear spoiler, A-pillar LED lights, and Cerakot ceramic coating. The 4×4 SUV also features rigid rock lights, an underbody light kit, enhanced bumpers, and a hitch. Owners who missed out on the First Edition Wheel kit can purchase it for $1,200. It will equip the Bronco Sport with 17-inch Gloss Black wheels. There are also four Bronco center caps, a tire pressure monitoring sensor, and an activation kit.
The 2022 Ford Bronco Sport starts at an MSRP of $28,265 (plus destination fee). The First Edition Wheel kit will be available for both the 2022 and 2021 Ford Bronco Sport trim. The kit will not include any tires so Ford recommends the First Edition Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires which were the same ones used for the First Edition trim. It’s good to see Ford offering everyone a chance to equip their Bronco with all the latest features. Naturally, those who come first deserve special treatment, but that doesn’t mean they should have sole exclusivity forever.
