The New Ford Mustang Dark Horse Totes 500 Horsepower
The magic pony automakers are prepared to affect those with the Scrooge spirit with some holiday cheer. Ford Mustang enthusiasts must’ve been at the top of Santa’s nice list as the American automaker reveals more ponies for every engine inside the new 2024 Ford Mustang. But, most importantly, the Mustang Dark Horse will output 500 HP.

The Mustang Dark Horse Delivering 500 HP

Aside from the Shelby edition, the Mustang Dark Horse is the most-potent sports car thus far. Inside the special-edition Ford Mustang is an incredibly engineered fourth-generation Coyote V8 engine generating 500 HP and 418 pound-ft of torque. In addition, the Coyote engine acquired some extensive modifications. For instance, there’s a redefined balanced crankshaft and forged piston connecting rods. The connecting rods regulate high cylinder pressures and piston speeds.
The Ford Mustang EcoBoost
Ford works passionately to deliver an inexpensive performance for the masses. As such, the prospective 2024 Ford Mustang EcoBoost offers the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine rendering 315 HP and 350 pound-ft of torque. That’s a lot of force for a four or six-cylinder engine.
The Ford Mustang EcoBoost harbors a new engine composed of the automaker’s new engine architecture, Modular Power Cylinder (MPC), and driving prowess in design and function. Most notably, the extensive modifications amplify the EPA-estimated sports cars’ fuel economy.
The all-new 2024 Ford Mustang models will become available in the States by the Summer of 2023 from the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Flat Rock, Michigan.
