The company has filed for a patent that will allow them to configure its future vehicles to optimize the perfect environment for optimal sleeping on the go. The patent was filed on September 30th, 2021, published on June 6th, 2023, and assigned serial number 11667321.
The patent filed is for a disappearing steering wheel and pedals system, giving the brand new E-Tourneo Custom a folding steering wheel and launching the Max Recline Seats function on the 2021 Ford F-150, even though that unique function has been tough to come by recently because of the chip shortage.
