More In Store for the New 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E

It’s challenging to soup up the 2021 Electric Vehicle of the Year, but Ford has done just that with the Mach-E. The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E provides more usable capacity, making the model a more efficient and reliable daily driver.

Initially, Battery packs carry an overall energy and usage capacity. The usable capacity is the energy derived from the car to power itself. The only difference between the usable energy and the total capacity is a buffer protecting the pack from significant wear.

The 2022 Mustang Mach-E forum leaked the 2022 Mustang Mach-E Order Guide and increased usable energy capacity for the Standard and Extended Range. 

• Standard Range is now 70 kWh (up from 68 kWh since 2021) 
• Extended Range is now 914 kWh (up from 88 kWh since 2021)  

The upgrade provides an increase in the Range of 10 miles across the lineup. In addition, this upgrade in Range increases the Range for higher-end variations to extend beyond 300 miles with a single charge.

The 2022 Mustang Mach-E also premiers new colorways and interior options. The new Mach-E will arrive at dealerships at the end of this year (2021).
