Ford Unveils Redesigned 2023 Ford Escape Along with New ST-Line Trim
Ford recently unveiled the newly redesigned 2023 Ford Escape. The compact SUV has received a touch-up both inside and out. The Blue Oval has also given the 2023 Escape a sporty new ST-Line trim along with several hybrid versions. As of late, Ford has been ramping up its EV production. The automaker has seen immense success with its EVs like the F-150 Lightning and Mach-E. Now Ford wants to continue to offer EVs and hybrids. An all-electric Ford Maverick Lightning is supposedly in the works, and now we see the new 2023 Ford Escape offered with several hybrid versions. 2023 Ford Escape Offers More Versatility
Ford recently revealed the 2023 Ford Escape. The compact SUV arrives with a new redesign both inside and out. The Escape also offers consumers a sporty new ST-Line trim and several plug-in hybrid/fully hybrid versions. With the new ST-Line trim, Ford offers three versions: the ST-Line, ST-Line Select, and ST-Line Elite. The ST-Line features a 1.5L EcoBoost engine that delivers 180 horsepower. It can be paired with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Both the ST-Line Select and Elite are equipped with a 2.0L EcoBoost engine that offers 250 horsepower. They feature all-wheel drive, and there is also a hybrid option.
Along with the ST-Line trim, the 2023 Ford Escape also offers an Escape Active and Platinum trim. Consumers can also opt for either a hybrid or plug-in hybrid version. The base and Active trims feature a 1.5L EcoBoost engine, while the Platinum offers a 2.0L EcoBoost. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are available. The hybrid versions feature Ford’s fourth-generation hybrid propulsion system. They combine a 2.5L hybrid engine with an electronic continuously variable transmission to produce 210 horsepower. With a 240-volt Level 2 charge, owners will see a full charge time of 3.5 hours. When driving, they can also choose between various EV modes, including Auto EV, EV Now, EV Later, and EV Charge.
Inside the 2023 Ford Escape, owners will note an Ebony or Space Gray interior with seating up to five. Depending on the trim, the cabin will feature red stitching with dark Ebony materials on the door panels, seat trims, and steering wheel. The compact SUV features a 13.2-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Owners will also have a multitude of driver-assist features like adaptive cruise control, predictive speed assist, and a 360-degree camera.
