Ford Begins Production on the F-150 Lightning

As a result, the Blue Oval knew that the automaker needed to extend production to the Rogue Electric Vehicle Center to keep up with the demand. Furthermore, the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center will serve as the F-150 Lightning’s new stomping ground for a new planned annual production rate of 150,000 by 2023.
So far, Ford has created 750 jobs with an investment of $950 million, just for the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center. Additionally, the Blue Oval metropolis has invested over $1 billion. The billion-dollar investment created 1,700 new jobs among five different Ford plants throughout Michigan.
