These higher-tier trims equip the pony muscle car with a powerful 5L V8 engine capable of 470 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. There’s also the Mustang GT500 which features a 760 horsepower supercharged 5.2L V8 engine. Of course, the higher in trims consumers go, the higher the price. For its transmission, the Mustang offers a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The 2022 Mustang comes available with several performance packages like the High Performance package. This package equips the car with 19-inch aluminum wheels, front springs, an active valve performance exhaust, and a 3.55 limited-slip rear axle. It also upgrades the muscle car’s suspension and horsepower. Although the package is not necessary to enjoy the Mustang, it does build on the sports car’s responsiveness. The Mustang also offers a comfortable and engaging driving experience thanks to its modern chassis.

Inside the 2022 Mustang, owners will find comfortable, well-bolstered front seats. As is to be expected in a sports car, the back seats are lacking in space.
